Grand Ayat. Hakim urges youth not to adapt Western style

The senior cleric advised the younger generations to utilize their potential to promote the Islamic beliefs and principles based on logic and avoid giving in to momentary temptations and worldly desires which are against the Islamic cultures and Ahlulbayt’s (as) doctrine.

Hawzah News Agency (Najaf, Iraq) – In a meeting with a group of Iraqi youth in the city of Najaf on Saturday, January 6, senior Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Saeed al-Hakim elaborated on the life of Prophet Muhammad (as) and the hardship he went through to deliver Islamic principles and guidelines to the people of his time. The cleric remarked that Prophet Muhammad (as) did so to gain Allah almighty’s satisfaction and divine bounty.

The senior cleric further advised the younger generations to utilize their potential to promote the Islamic beliefs and principles based on logic and avoid giving in to momentary temptations and worldly desires which are against the Islamic cultures and Ahlulbayt’s (as) doctrine.

“Ahlulbayt (as), through their eminent moral virtues and adherence to right path of Islam, inspired the whole world and gained global respect.” The cleric added.

In the end, Grand Ayatollah Hakim asked the youth not to waste their valuable lifetime adapting Western lifestyle and traditions, since those Western societies are looking for solutions to their own problems.”
